Physical Education Department

Nowadays, students are so busy compiling their projects and assessment, so they need time to restrain and boost their power. Since there is a fuss in the academics and it is hard for each student to excel in studies so, it is an advantage to be a part of any extracurricular activity. It will not only help you to reduce your stress but can also help you to develop yourself as a successful athlete. Therefore, it is necessary to have sports facilities in college.

Sri Venketeshwaraa College of Engineering and Technology assigns top priority to sports activities and encourages students who are sports persons by providing them a complete scholarship for studies. The Institution has excellent state-of-the-art infrastructure for sports and provides professional coaching in sports to students. The Institution has a newly constructed indoor auditorium for shuttle badminton. In addition to this, the SVCET has the following facilities.

The right promotion of the sports facilities in the college will result in the engagement of a large number of students and faculty. The sports always attract students and it will lead to a healthier environment. The sports facility in a common area in the college campus will force the students to be more active. The authorities have to take responsibility to ensure the engagement and participation of the students in the sports.

Fitness Centre

Sri Venketeshwaraa College of Engineering and Technology Fitness Centre is functioning in the college campus. This facility is open to all staff and students. A separate fitness center is also available for women. Qualified fitness instructors are available for men and women in both morning and evening on all the days except sundays to guide the persons.

he Centre focuses its attention on maintaining and developing Physical fitness, weight reduction and body building. Modern weight machines like for upper extremity and lower extremity for pull down, peck deck, arm curl, abdominal crunch are available for exercising various parts of the body. Other equipment’s like tread mill, bicycle ergometer, rolling machine are also available to develop the aerobic fitness.

Timings:

Morning: 5.30 a.m. to 7.30 a.m.
Evening: 5 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.
