SVCET INSTITUTIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN

The aim is to achieve the goals with the assistance of stack holders including Faculties, Staff, Students and Alumni , Recruiters and  to ensure to achieve the Vision and Mission of the Institution.

1.ACADEMIC :

[1]  To achieve Autonomous  status.

[2]  To improve the existing  Accreditation ranking .

[3] To achieve Accreditation and Ranking from  reputed National  and International  agencies .

[4] To improve   Industry Experts  active  participations in all the programmes.

[5] To strengthen the partnership with the National and International Institutions for improving the

academic standard.

[6] To develop National and International   Student diversity.

[7]  To maintain good Faculty and Student ratio   to enhance and develop the learning process for the

Students.

[8] To have MOUS with reputed Institutons  both National and International for Academic and Research

area and with reputed Industries for Internship ,Training, and for Placements

2.RESEARCH AND INNOVATIONS :

[1]To  encourage Faculty and Students to participate and present papers in National and International

conferences conducted by reputed Institutions.

[2] To encourage Faculty and Students to involve in research activities by providing seed money and

required assistance.

[3] To encourage Faculty and Students to develop innovative technology and products

[4] To encourage  Faculty and Students to foster entreprenurship  and startup culture.

[5] To establish research Centre of Excellence and encourage inter disciplinary  research with our  group

Institutions.

[6]To encourage  Faculties to publish Research articles in peer reviewd  journals  and patent registration.

3.INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT :

[1]To develop and upgrade the existing Laboratories in tune with the technology development.

[2] To establish digital library with access to e journals and  e books ,

[3]To develop on line portal for Students to access study materials, assaignments etc

[4] To install more white boards, projectors  and visual equipments  in the Class rooms for effective

teaching.

[5] To implement technology in administration in admission process, fee payment, and Student records.

4.OTHERS :

[1] To establish strong ALUMNI net work  and engagement programmes  to have  long lasting

connection and support to the Institution and the juniors.

[2] To strengthen the relationship with the local community through outreach programmes.,involving

Students participation.

[3]To provide training and professional development  opportunities for the Adminidstrative Staff to

enhance their skill and efficiency.

[4] To improve the energy saving  measures  and steps for Green campus.

[5] To develop the feed back system from Faculty ,Staff, Students ,Parents, Alumni  and Employers and

analyse  and study for the development of the Institution.

[6] To develop  relationship with the Schools and supporting them in the academic and other activities

and to contribute for the development of the School Education.

[7] To have a well structured Mentor – Mentee Relationship to improve the Students performance in all

aspects.
