Silent walkton
- In order to create a awareness on children with dyslexia, Autism, ADHD and Orphans with neuro disorder, Our NSS team combined with Pondicherry Dyslexia Association conducted a awareness SILENT WALKTON program on 17.03.2024 (Sunday) at Pondicherry Rock Beach, by Motivating the children’s and influencing the volunteers for support.
- The program was organized by Dr. Bhuvana Vasudevan, Bridge Learning school with Guest of Honor Principal Dr. S. Pradeep Devaneyan and Dr.K.B.Jayaraman, Dean with flag raise.
- The same is assisted and supported by Mr. V. Karthikeyan, Nss Coordinators. and Mr. C. Sandou Louis Kishor AP- EEE. Volunteers and students participated during the programme.
Beach cleaning Activity
- In order to create awareness on Biodiversity conservation and Swachh Bharat program, Our NSS Team partnered with Environmental Foundation” pondicherry chapter program conducted a Beach cleaning activity on 17/03/2022 (Sunday) at Pondicherry Marina Beach
- Our volunteers gave a good support and key role for Public for the cleanliness and avoiding plastic Disposal on Sea Shores. The program was commenced and felicitated by our Beloved Principal Dr. S. Pradeep Devaneyan.
- The same is assisted and supported by Mr. V. Karthikeyan, NSS Coordinators from our college and 15 Students NSS volunteers
NSS Students Election
- Our Nss volunteers combined with the election department and Overall Pondicherry Nss team participated in Awareness rally on 23.03.2024 (Saturday) at Kamban kalaiarangam, Pondicherry The primary objective of organizing the election awareness rally in collaboration with the Election Department was to engage students in the democratic process, raise awareness about the upcoming elections, and encourage voter participation among the students and Public.
- Our volunteers gave a good support and key role to the Public for voter awareness. The program was commenced and felicitated by the District Collector, State NSS Team and Election Department.. The same is assisted and supported by our beloved Principal Dr. S. Pradeep Devaneyan and Dr.K.B.Jayaraman, Dean with our NSS Coordinator and 20 NSS volunteers.
Empowering Student Voters
- In order to create awareness among the students regarding voting and election for new voters, Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Engineering & Technology ELC club and NSS combined with Election Department, Puducherry together conducted an awareness program on 01.04.2024 at SVCET Campus.
- The program was commenced and felicitated by Principal Dr. S. Pradeep Devaneyan welcomed the dignitaries, Dr.K.B.Jayaraman, Dean felicitated the programme, Mr. Somasekar Apparao Kotharu, IAS Officer, Sub Collector office, puducherry as chief guest and Mr. Senthil Kumar, Director of survey, Pondicherry guest of honor.
- The same is assisted and supported by Head of the departments, faculty members, Nss Coordinators and Volunteers, admin staff and students were present during the programme. The programme was organized by Mr. Karthikeyan, ELC cum NSS officer, SVCET.
