ABOUT THE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

SVCET Alumni Association was started in the Academic Year 2019-2020 and it is officially registered in 2023. The Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering and Technology (SVCET) Alumni Meet is an event organized by the SVCET Alumni Association (SVCETAA) and is administered by an Alumni Committee. The ultimate goal of the alumni meet is to Reconnect, Reminisce and Refresh among Alumni. The alumni association is very active in promoting interactions and camaraderie among the alumni, staff and the management. Besides helping the alumni in all possible ways, it also lends its support to the college to achieve its cherished goals, its vision and mission. Alumni association was established with a clear vision and intention to bridge the gap between young budding SVCETian and facilitate interactions and connections. Additionally, it emphasizes the pride the institution takes in the achievements of its alumni and the desire to showcase these accomplishments to the entire SVCET family. Aims and objectives of the Association: To work for the Rights and welfare of the alumni students in Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Engineering and Technology, Puducherry. To register the old students in the Association. Objective of the association is to Club all the Departments listed below

Association will bring all the students in one forum for exchange of experience, dissemination of knowledge and talents amongst its members. Association will conduct seminars, conferences, workshops, endowment lecture and other academic activities and also to keep in touch with one another of the faculty, Non-Teaching staff and students. Association will create and establish Alumni endowments for granting Scholarships, Prizes and Medals to the students showing high proficiency in their studies. Association will render assistance in placement trainings, MOUs, Internships, and Industrial Visit. Association will render support to students in Higher Education. Association will render financial aid to deserving poor students studying at the institute and alumni in cases of extreme compassionate circumstances.
