About Martial Arts
The martial arts is not only about the combination of kicks, punches but it the game of mind. A martial artist is prepared to work out with the brain as well as the body, orders the brain to kick to punch at the proper timing without fail in most of the cases.Martial arts rely on acute physical coordination and mental focus.This is a technique for tackling dangerous attackers with bare hands. It consists of dynamic offensive and defensive techniques using all parts of the body to their maximum advantage.
In this club all B.Tech students of all disciplines can participate. Each individual participant will be given a challenge, the participants are expected to work on the given challenge with in a specified time. The participants who are able to make a self defense are declared as winners of the competition .
The Hall of Martial Arts of SVCET trains students on a variety of martial art forms such as Wushu, Karate, Silambam, Fencing, and Boxing. Performing martial arts prepares the students’ mind and body for a self paced steady growth. The beauty of students getting trained in yoga and martial arts while studying here is that, they are able to strike a mental balance with a series of academic activities they go through and their performance reflects this.
