QUALIFICATION: Ph.D. (SEED SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY)
Professor Dr.Sivasubramaniam is a veteran Seed Technologist graduated from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore where he pursued his Post Gradate and Doctoral degrees at the Directorate of Seed Science. He has 33 years of teaching, research, extension and administrative experience. He has authored 12 books in seed science and published 15 international articles, 125 scientific articles and 100 articles in vernacular language. He has been trained in Self Learning technique at University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada during 1997. He has served as UG teacher for 15 years and PG teacher for 5 years while guiding 12 M.Sc. and 6 Ph.D. students. Being the Founder Professor and Head of Dept. of Seed Science at Agricultural College and Research Institute, Madurai, he has also served as Dean, College of Agricultural Technology, Theni, ThanthaiRoever Institute of Agriculture and Rural Development, Perambalur, founder Dean of Agricultural College and Research Institute, Kudumiyanmalai, Pudukottai, Member, Research Council, TNAU, Member, Academic Council, TNAU, Chairman, Selection Committee for Agricultural Assistants, TNAU before retiring during 2021.
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
QUALIFICATION: PhD., (AGRL.EXTENSION)
Dr. P. Mareeswaran is a veteran social scientist of repute. While graduating from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, his interests in sociology has propelled him to pursue his post graduation and doctoral degrees in Agricultural Extension from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) Coimbatore. His long teaching career has enabled him to create a niche in Agricultural Sociology. An amiable and amicable person, he is close to students understanding their needs and helping them in process of acclimatization. He has served 4 years in teaching at various premier institutions with 5 year research experience under his kitty. Dr. Mareeswaran’s specialization in Psychology, Tribal Developmental Studies and Indigenous Traditional Knowledge Documentation has led to travel into the confines of tribals which has led to publication of 10 research articles in both national and international journals bearing good NAAS rating. He has contributed three book chapters in different books. He is a life member of Extension Education Society, Coimbatore.
AGRONOMY
QUALIFICATION: M.Sc., Ph.D. (AGRONOMY)
Dr M. Kandeshwari is a budding Agronomist, graduated from Agricultural college and Research Institute, Madurai with subsequent Post Graduation and Doctoral degree from erstwhile Directorate of Crop Management, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. She has actively served in teaching and research activities while shouldering additional responsibilities for 8 years. She has specialized in nutrient (INM) and weed management. She has authored one book in Agronomy and published seven national and international articles and two popular articles in reputed journal in India. She has contributed three book chapters in different books with ISBN number. During her academic pursuit she has attended ten national and international seminars and conferences. She has awarded with meritorious national fellowship for her doctoral programme. She is a life member in various societies and has received the prestigious Young Scientist Award from Society of Biotechnology.
Asst. Prof., COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES
QUALIFICATION: Ph.D. (SOIL SCIENCE AND AGRICULTURAL CHEMISTRY)
Dr. G. POOVIZHI SINDHU graduated from Annamalai University, Chidambaram where she also pursued her post graduate degree in M.Sc. (SOIL SCIENCE AND AGRICULTURAL CHEMISTRY). She was awarded Ph. D. (SOIL SCIENCE AND AGRICULTURAL CHEMISTRY) from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. She has valuable experience in Agro industrial tie-up programme and RAWE – village stay programme all the while with 5 years of research experience and 6 months of teaching. She has published 1 international article and 4 national articles. Her interest in research in academic pursuit has led her to attend 5 training programmes participate in 6 webinars and 8 national and international conferences. Her expertise in soil and water analysis in the laboratory is commendable.
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES

Dr. R. Ariraman completed his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at Annamalai University and doctoral studies at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. A quite and inconspicuous guy, Dr. Ariraman is energetic, enthusiastic academic with several pursuits. His academic caliber is visible through his publications in reputed journals wherein 14 research/review papers in international and national journals, 2 book chapters, 30 popular articles and 2 books were published in short span of two years. He has received the prestigious Agriculture Association Prize acknowledging his academic acumen. His academic pursuits has led him to attend 2 conferences, 3 national webinars, 3 international webinars and 4 workshops.
Lecturer in Allied Health Sciences

Mr. AJITH.A, a dedicated lecturer serving at Sri Venkateswaraa University’s Department of Anaesthesia Technology. Graduating from prestigious St. Joseph’s College of Arts and Science, Cuddalore where he pursued and acquired M. Sc. in Biochemistry and Diploma Medical Laboratory Technology. His dedication for both research and teaching were outstanding. He has got 3 awards among which one was handed over by the Governor. His proficiency in clinical laboratory techniques has led him pursue to a career at Sri Venkateshwara Medical College Pondicherry during 2021. His calibre in clinical laboratory sample collection and biochemical tests has helped the students to acquire such skills in short span.
LECTURER, COLLEGE OF ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES
QUALIFICATION: M.Sc. (Faculty of Medicine)
Lecturer Catherine Thamayandhi is a Microbiologist with post-graduation from the Faculty of Medicine at Saveetha Medical College and Hospital and under graduation in Microbiology at the University of Madras. She has also acquired Post-Graduate Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology. During the period of post-graduation, she was exposed to and gained experience in both clinical and non-clinical ventures like teaching, diagnostic, infection control, antibiotic stewardship, molecular technique and so on. Her dissertation on “ANTIBACTERIAL AND ANTIBIOFLIM ACTIVITY OF SELENIUM NANOPARTICLE AGAINST PSEUDOMONAS AERUGINOSA EXAMINING USING SCANNING ELECTRON MICROSCOPY has received much acclaim. She has published two articles in reputed medical journal and has presented papers in national and international seminars.
